Villa Mimi embraces art and culture, and whenever possible we transform the house and garden into a vibrant venue for cultural gatherings and artistic expression.
In the following we present a puppet theatre and a cello concert.
One of our favourite guests: the very important puppet (V.I.P.)
Ziránó Színház, one of Hungary’s most beloved puppet theatres, is a recurring guest at Villa Mimi when they perform in the region. Its enchanting characters seem at home among our old walls and garden – as the videos so delightfully reveal.
Music fills the old house and the garden with a delightful sense of life
With its in-house concert series, ‘Villa Mimi Concert’, Villa Mimi enriches Sopron’s vibrant cultural scene. The gallery in the ‘White Orchide’ suite is transformed into a small concert stage. Behind the musicians, a wonderful panoramic view of Sopron’s old town unfolds.
Salon music with cello and piano
As part of the “SopronFest 2025”, cellist József Révész and pianist Péter Kuzsner performed works by Liszt, Brahms, Dvořák and Bach on the gallery in the suite at Villa Mimi in Löverek.
During the interval, music lovers enjoy delicious canapés and drinks in the garden of Villa Mimi.
